PAHAL (Initiate): An integrated learning program

Pahal, program was added by DSWSC in July 2014.It has 6 students enrolled in it age group of 8 onwards. This caters to individual needs of the student by providing an integrated curriculum with special attention on Language Development, Personal Social Emotional Development, Creative Development, Mathematical understanding, General Awareness, Career counseling and Training.

Effective techniques of teaching through the modern Smart Board have been employed. Conducive, spacious environment & an air-conditioned classroom are provided for the students under supervision of qualified staff. A focused approach promotes creativity identifying a particular skill or talent of the student. An Occupational Therapist & a Speech Therapist from the Diagnostic & Counseling Clinic also tend to the Unit.

Working in the field of rehabilitation for more than four decades, the Delhi Society for the Welfare of Special Children has been trying to address all aspects in the field to become an all encompassing & rounded one-stop Centre for its students.

All donations made to the Society are eligible for deduction under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
